Metal Slug Alice (MS-Alice, or just Alice for short) is a new character introduced in Metal Slug Attack.
Although technically existing within the computer system of an SV-001, she presents herself (via holographic projection) as a girl with a petite frame, purplish-pink eyes, and dark blue hair styled in twin-tails. Her main attire consists of a green maid outfit (similar to that of the ones wore by French maids in the 17th century) with red ribbon on it, and a red armband with the P.F. Squad logo. She also wears black finger-less gloves, a Naval cap, yellow ribbons on her twin-tails, green stripped knee-socks, and blue shoes. Her Halloween costume consists of a red bikini top and skirt, wide black belt with brass studs, red elbow gloves, red and black striped socks, and red devil horns and tail.
Her "true" body, that of the SV-001 she inhabits, has a light blue colour scheme with silver Vulcans and cannon barrel. For Halloween, she's had the body painted red.
"Alice" is an artificial intelligence that was accidentally created by Marco while he was messing around with his computer. Thanks to his technical knowledge in programming, she now inhabits an SV-001 tank, allowing her to fight alongside her creator.
MSA Marco's info states that she is very shy. This also seems to be proven with White Baby, as if White Baby wins while Alice is in either player's deck, she grabs a hologram of Alice by her twin-tails while laughing.
Marco also installed a content regulator in MS-Alice, keeping her from using inappropriate words. Alice was unaware of this regulator until she tried to assist Caroline and Aswang in seducing Vatn, only to find she couldn't figure out any words to use. She chose to work with the vampire in the hopes of gaining an actual flesh-and-blood body, so she can personally interact with Marco.
The SV-001 that she controls has improved jumping ability compared to the standard Metal Slug tank. It is equipped with custom Vulcans that have a jamming effect on enemy equipment and its 127mm cannon can fire in a triple-shot burst, resulting in some serious firepower with nasty side-effects for the enemy.
Her SV-001 could also reach an incredible mobility. This is proven when she reverses for retreating, and performing a "Metal Slug Attack" with an extraordinary speed.
However, the Ptolemaic Army found out about this and dispatched Dragunov and her assault forces to capture her. Unfortunately, while Dragunov and her assault forces was successful in retrieving the A.I.-controlled Slug first, Alice was later accidentally dropped because of the explosion of Amadeus' base, sending her crate into the Crablops' lair.
Her crate was then disturbed by a Chowmein-Conga, causing her to activate as the mutated crab then fled from the Crablops. Breaking free from her crate, she uses the Vulcans on her SV-001 to fire upon the Crablops, right before a pack of Chowmein-Congas appeared, forcing her to retreat. She later defeats the Crablops.
Sometime after that, MS-Alice returned to Marco and makes an appearance in the "Power of New Versions" Extra Ops. After Marco defeats Morden (who used a new Morden Saucer), Morden sets the saucer on self-destruct. MS-Alice saves Marco by crashing her SV-001 and says farewell to her creator, crying in the process before disappearing. Marco is initially distraught, but brings the SV-001's remains to base and repairs it. This allows MS-Alice to appear again and she wakes up a sleeping Marco.
- She is the second unmanned vehicle in the SV-001 family. The first is the SV-001/III Black Hound, created by the Ptolemaic Army. Despite looking like there was a person inside due to Alice's appearances, this is false because MS-Alice is a hologram-like A.I.
- That being said, it is possible that the Ptolemaic forces were planning on using Alice as a basis for an improved version of the Black Hound, though this is pure speculation.
- When placed within the same Metal Slug Attack deck, she and "Cat Ears" Leona form a team called "New Face III". This reduces their AP cost for sorties by 10%.
- She's the first unit within the game to have multiple special attacks - if the enemy isn't too close, she'll jump into the air to gain more range from her shells.
