While initially unimpressive with its subpar attacks, this Flying Tara is well known as an AP generator once 4 is unlocked. If it has managed to fire with a standard attack, upon leaving, it will generate AP for the player. However, if it is destroyed before it leaves the screen, no AP will be generated. The circumstances in destroying the Flying Tara seem to be rather erratic; using a unit like the Wrath Mortar will easily destroy it, while other units can damage but not destroy the Flying Tara.
Compared to the UFO Invader, the Flying Tara Ver. P.M. is much more faster and skill unlocking is not as harsh on the items. However, it costs a bit more AP, and does far less damage with its attacks.
The Flying Tara is best used in conjunction with the UFO Invader, though it is reasonably decent by itself. However, the player's other units must be reasonably strong, as takes up a slot that could have been used for another unit that compliments their deck.
