The Mini-Sub 88 is a Rebel Army submarine introduced in Metal Slug 3.

Information

The rapid expansion of the Rebel Army meant that they will soon need a vehicle for each differing environments on the earth. After some designing, Rebel engineers came up with the Mini-Sub 88, created to explore and conquer areas underneath the waves.

According to Metal Slug 3D's artwork, these tiny submersibles are piloted by a crew of three Rebel scuba divers. Its larger cousin, the U25U, is remotely-operated .

Upgrades and variants

	Ptolemaic: Slightly faster and bigger than the Rebel version. Has weaker armor due to optimizing firepower.
	Amadeus: Same shape as the Rebel version except with the Amadeus Syndicate's emblem. Runaway White Baby assembles them from floating scrap and sends them to the closest enemy unit. The Amadeus Mini-Sub can block projectiles and are invulnerable until it crashes.

Unseen

Bobsled Submarine: a modified Mini-Sub 88 which was going to be used by Harpoon Divers in Metal Slug 3D.

Trivia

• The Rebel submarine resembles a Delta-class submarine with the Ptolemaic variant based on a Typhoon-class submarine.
