The player is presented with a Training List - a set of challenges that rotate depending on the day of the week. The Training List consists of 5 mission types that are further broken down into 6 difficulties (Training Programs) - harder difficulties require specific Player Levels to play. A selection of mission types can be completed three times each day (losses don't count, and the school refreshes at 0400 hours server time) regardless of the difficulty chosen. Items or MSP are given for every victory.
This mission type requires destroying contraptions that bind P.O.W.s at the end of the level (other P.O.W.s on the way there are optional). Restraints cannot be targeted directly, necessitating the use of special attacks (the AI doesn't consider P.O.W.s hostile even though they appear purple on the radar).
This mission type requires destroying the base of a Rebel Army battle group.
This mission type requires eliminating a fortified unit at the opposite side of the level before the timer runs out. There are often pre-placed units defending the objective.
This mission type requires destroying a base on the far end of the level before the timer runs out.
This battle mode requires destroying a solitary combat vehicle advancing towards the player's base before the timer runs out.
